We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Media Analyst to join its client’s Pune team! Our analysts assess traditional, social, and broadcast media from all over the world to provide client with a comprehensive view of their media coverage. The media insights that Our client provides allows our clients to develop sophisticated strategies for promoting their companies and brands. 

As a Media Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing traditional print media, broadcasts and social media to deliver curated newsletters and media insights in line with the needs of the clients ranging from global Fortune 500/100 companies to trade associations and government agencies.

A media analyst is expected to familiarize themselves with the nuances and intricacies of the clients’ requirements and the industry they operate in. They are expected to own and support multiple clients, ensuring consistent delivery of outcomes with a very high accuracy and quality. 

Occasional flexibility with work hours is a key component of this role due to shifting client requests and account coverage needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Utilize proprietary tools to analyse traditional, broadcast and social media content for your clients.
• Curate and publish daily and weekly newsletters based on requirements of the client within time-based deadlines with high accuracy and quality.
• Monitor and manage client communications, updates and requests. Be the trusted point of contact for all accounts assigned. 
• Perform sentiment and tonality analysis of the media coverage. 
• Derive insights from the analysis performed. Succinctly communicate the insights.
• Manage and own account documentation for assigned accounts. 
• Collaborate with Associate Analysts, other Media Analysts, Reporting Specialists, and the Client Success team to achieve customer goals and provide in-depth media analysis 

Job Requirements. 

• Minimum 4-5 years of work experience, preferably in a multinational organization. Preferable experience working with US/ Europe based organizations or teams.
• College degree, preferably in communications, journalism, public relations, English, or business with excellent academic credentials
• Agency experience is a plus

Responsibilities 

• Operations & Process Management: Develop a client centric, predictable operations.
• Know your client, understand client expectations, sensitivities, preferences and align service delivery accordingly. Prepare, update, and maintain client account manuals to ensure consistency and clarity in operations 
• Take full ownership of service delivery. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of client deliverables such as newsletters, etc. Conduct regular quality and process audits to deliver per client expectations 
• Manage and prevent client complaints with comprehensive root cause analysis (RCA) and remediation measures. 
• Maintain a structured approach to team scheduling, workload distribution, and performance tracking. Proactively address operational bottlenecks to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks. 
• Challenge the status quo, and continuously improve processes for enhanced quality, speed and efficiency in collaboration with key stakeholders 
• Transition client accounts, and absorb new accounts per agreed timelines

Job Requirements 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an analytically rigorous area of study 
• Work & Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing and developing a team, with 7-10 years of total work experience. Experience in handling highly detailed, time-sensitive processes. 
• Team Management & Governance: Experience managing high-performing teams with a strong focus on process discipline and adherence to guidelines, procedures, policies. 
• Global Exposure: Experience working with international teams based in the US and Europe. Experience in multinational organizations is preferable.
